I was shocked and saddened to read on Anne McAllister’s Blog that Blake Synder suddenly passed away yesterday.

It is a tribute to his skills and personal committment to writers of all genres and media, that his work on story craft has been so well received, appreciated, absorbed and USED by Romance writers around the world.

I did not have the privilege of hearing Blake speak live, but have read his classic book on story craft:

‘Save the Cat’ , plus many articles on craft and life as a writer, and admired him greatly.

 His Blog and Tools have always been an excellent resouce.

He will be greatly missed.
