Glitter in the Air

Mr Nina and I were chatting about some of the things we would like to do – but are so far out there they are probably unobtainable at this stage in life.

Example – I love mountaineering but have the lungs of a knat – long term asthma etc. I have been to Nepal and seen Everest but there is no way that I could survive past base camp due to low oxygen levels. Mr Nina fancies Mount Kilimanjaro – and might do it.

On the other hand, this is the amazing Pink performing Glitter in the Air and performing a trapeze act at the same time. [ Hat tip to the lovely Donna Alward for recommending the lyrics to this song and linking to the performance]

Now that is something I would love to do.

All I would have to do would be to loose x pounds and train for several months/years and I am good to go. What do you think? Um? Aspirational or what?

This girl did it. And what a brilliant analogy to conquering fear in life.

Alex Noriega captured it perfectly.

  1. Thanks Lacey – and I am not so sure about the brave,,, although I am a writer, so I think it comes with the territoryLOL

  2. It does look like a lot of fun doesn’t it? I’d feel much safer doing that than going mountineering. You’re a brave woman! I love the knat comparison lol.
