Now play it again. With more feeling this time.

Going off line now for a few days – I need to focus on editing book seven for Mills and Boon, and I know that my hunky hero needs work during the layering process.

I had wanted this book completed this week but I know that the middle is not there yet and it is not leaving the house until it is as good as I can make it. Heavy revisions are so not cool.

This is Leo– now how can I treat him so BAAAAD?

I have three ideas on how to build his internal conflict and now comes the :

exciting; difficult; challenging; scary; best part -that is, working through which of these options will throw the most rocks at this lovely man – AND still have him be heroic and admirable and aspirational for my lovely heroine. GULP.

This does however, provide a most excellent excuse to read the latest HMB Romance line books – research of course – and watch soppy films on TV  – while thinking through the options.

How can I do it in a fresh way, without making it confusing?

So fingers to keyboard, but there is a lot to do.

In the interval I leave you with some inspiration from the playlist for this story

I love the Bird York lyrics – and have used it before, but I could not resist. Leo does not see her coming and dives into the deep.
