Special Anniversaries

Yikes it is September already.

How did that happen? … Oh. Holidays and sickies. Um. Drat.

Which means that I missed celebrating two important anniversaries.

On Sept 02 2008 my editor at Mills and Boon rang me to say that they wanted to buy the book that became ‘Always the Bridesmaid,’ which was published  July 2009.

Two Years!! Who would have thunk it?

Since then quite a lot has happened: ‘Hired: Sassy Assistant’ was out Jan 2010 and ‘Tipping the Waitress with Diamonds’ in June 2010.

I can now announce that book 4 which was accepted in March will be called ‘The last Summer of Being Single’ and will be published in February, but I don’t have a cover yet. More info to follow. Same with book 5.

So overall 5 books accepted in two years. For some people that is slow going, for others lightning speed, but I am delighted that I am able to share the characters who live inside my head with readers around the world. And I am still a complete newbie.

Now for the other anniversary – once I had a book offer and a pen name, I set about creating a website and Blog and bought a domain name etc. All in a two week block while frantically adding an Epilogue and strange things called Art Work etc.

To help celebrate I have a NEW WEBSITE which goes live today!  I do hope that you will pop over HERE and take a look.

Right – Nina rolls up sleeves on her PJs – better get on with books 6 and 7 to complete 2010.

  2. Happy anniversary, Nina! Love the new-look website. (Though was a bit gobsmacked when I was nosey with your portrait photos and saw… LOL!)

Look forward to seeing you on Friday so I can give you a congratulatory hug in person.

  3. Congrats on turning 2 ;)! I feel like it was just yesterday that I read the announcement about a new author Nina Harrington joining the M&B ranks. Here’s to many more fabulous books!

    P.S. Gorgeous new website!
