I am so thrilled that my debut book has been judged by readers as being worthy for this prestigous award – especially against such wonderful competition, so thank you for sharing that moment with me.

I never cease to be amazed by the generosity and warmth of the romance writing community – we ROCK!

I hope you spent a great Valentine’s weekend!

Mr Nina and I travelled north to a dinner dance with a professional organisation which was terrific, then even further north to meet up with my family. It was the 18th birthday of my lovely niece M and we have a brilliant afternoon scoffing her buffet and finding out the latest news from the whole family.

And of course the sandy Northumberland Beaches were just amazing.

Great fun.

Then off south again to meet up with Mr Nina’s family for a flying visit and a curry before heading home on the long drive south – only to find SO many roadworks that it took almost 5 hrs to get home. I think I got to bed just before 2am.

So a catch up day today and happy writing to all.
