Squirrels!

Squirrels and spring bulbs. Need I say more? I had covered the planters with a loose box – which the evil critters quickly learnt could be lifted to one side.

The result? I just saw a squirrel sitting on my fence munching away on what looked like a bulb and this is what is left of my planters and pots. And don’t get me started with all of the holes in the lawn which no doubt are full of peanuts and other stash!

Closer to the house – no problems in the window boxes.

On a happier note – it still makes my day when someone takes the time to write a book review. Many thanks to Harlequin Junkie for a great review of ‘Trouble on her Doorstep’ –  Thanks Sara!
