My lovely ed has been through the chocolate book and loves it – mostly. So now I should be revising.
Instead of which I am either obsessively following the RWA conference in New York on Twitter – thanks gals for posting pics, or thinking about hacking back my jungle of a garden.
AND VERY exciting news – my fellow Romance author Donna Alward heard at the RWA conference that she has won the Booksellers Best Award for her Mills and Boon Romance Line book, ‘Her Lone Cowboy.’
The Finalists in the GDRWA 2011 Booksellers’ Best Award Contest were:
Traditional
Christmas with her Boss by Marion Lennox
Her Lone Cowboy by Donna Alward
Oh So Sensible Secretary by Jessica Hart
Saving Cinderella by Myrna Mackenzie
All terrific books – so huge congrats to Donna.
But – What happened to June?
And then there is the RNA Conference in EEK – a week.
The siren call of the Internet has to be thwarted so, armed with my trust netbook Sammy and a new memory stick – I am off into the badlands called Revisions.
Speaking of which – the lovely Roni Loren has a great post on the Ten Stages of Revision Emotions. Snarf.
If I am not back soon, please think of me sometimes when you pass a cake shop. Sniff.

You are most welcome Donna – and it is a date. 🙂
Ooooh thanks for the congrats – it was really special! When are we going to get to meet in person, love? I’m hoping to make AMBA again one of these years!
Thanks Lacey – I like your idea about the cake LOL
LOL I love the cat. Congrats to all the finalists and to you, Nina, for all things revision like. I’m sure you’ll get through them. When in doubt, order cake. It can only help make revision land a nicer place.
